HA HA HA to all you melbournites, if you think for one second that your stupid GP in Albert Park is anyhting close to what the Adelaide GP was u are in denial!! I go to Albert Park every year and there is 0% atmosphere. YOU ARE JUST BORROWING THE GP FROM ADELAIDE AND IT WAS THE VIC GOVERMENT AND BERNIES DIRTY TACTICS THAT GOT YOU THE F1 GP, YOU KNOW I AM RIGHT!! YOU MIGHT BIULD BIGGER BUT YOU VICS WILL NEVER GET IT, ADELAIDE ROCKS!!

Adelaide is too narrow to hold a F1 car lets alone any passing, if they do choose to go there Adelaide will need a major redesign perhaps a new layout.

if the teams had agreed to the changes, i would have stoped watching anyway! HOW CAN THE PINACLE OF MOTORSPORT HAVE A CAP ON SPENDING, THATS WHY TEAMS HAVE ACCOUNTANTS. they take care of what the team can offord. the new series that they start will be better anyway, i mean look at the irl n indy cars! irl is a much better form of racing and regulations as it was developed by people that have a passion for the sport not by 70yo men who think they are 25 n kinky buggers that dress in nazi uniforms! SOUND FAIR? BERNIE BOUGHT IT UPON HIMSELF AS HE LIMITED THE DEVELOPMENT AND THE PLACES IT RACES, WHEN HE SHOULD HAVE PUSHED THE PASSION FOR THE SPORT TO THE WORLD!

Thank goodness!

If F1 has to “die” for a while,so be it!
FOTA must NOT relent it must fight the good fight because at the end it will mean the demise of “mop hair” Ecclestone,Mosley and the influence of the pathetic FIA.
What a farce it has been in the last decade or so and who has suffered…?the fans and the sport.
The manufacturers have actually spent more money trying to keep up with the willy-nilly,ad-hoc changes made by the meglomaniac,Mosley.
Like the mythical Phoenix rising from the ashes hopefully,fans worldwide will witness the new F1 emerge.

This is the best F1 news for years.

Who will lose from it – Ecclestone big time, and Mosley as well.

When the breakaway begins racing on all the old favourite circuits that Ecclestone screwed over for his new money spinners, those same money spinners will sue him for their losses till he’s broke.

Did anyone ever wonder how an old man with seriously bad hair could spend so much wealth, there’s the answer….

The less said about Mosley the better, good riddance to him and the FIA – both will preside over nothing.

Roll on the New F1….

Television will follow Ferrari. Rightly or wrongly half the world audience watches Ferrari, the rest of the teams have the other half, so it’s a perfect event to broadcast.

Its not V8 Supercars that talks down Eastern Creek Radar, its the fans. The Creek has never attracted fans in any numbers because of the location and transport issues.
Now if you want to know the circuit best suited to the FOTA world championship, then Philip Island would be the best spectacle. Apart from transport and accomodation of course! At the 2007 V8 final race, there was a lot of talk the Fox had commisioned a study into what was needed to run F1′s there trackwise. The main work was runn -offs and moving a few walls back. The interesting bit was the simulated lap times which were in the 1 min + not much more.
If only it could happen!
The biggest challenge to the FOTA championship is going to be circuits and insurance. But there is some big money involved. My guess is that we will see some races on some of the traditional old F1 tracks like Silverstone, Imola, Zolder, Kyalami, Montreal etc.
