Whats wrong: It may be possible for the front shock absorber to move in its lower mounting due to low clamping bolt torque. Front shock absorber movement could possibly result in the tyre contacting the wheel arch, or in the case of Front Wheel Drive vehicles, the shock absorber contacting the driveshaft.

What should you do: Known owners will be contacted by mail. For further information, contact any authorised Ford Dealer or Ford’s Customer Relationship Centre on 1800 503 672.
