I believe if if gets the DSG then it won’t have a centre diff like the current one. If so…………….Gone goes a VW 4×4 and welcome another softroader.

Hmm – less weight, and a 2.7 version of the 3.0 V6 diesel – if the 2.7 can get down to 7.0l/100 the car will be LCT exempt. Probably achievable with the 7 speed DSG, but I doubt if VW would consider that too much given the car is for world-wide distribution, not only AU.

VW’s 7 speed DSG is designed for low power/weight FWD cars (250NM), so if the Treg gets a DSG it will be the Audi 7 speeder rated at 500NM or more.

Not a bad looking render, not sure about the lower intakes tho, looks a bit Golf-ish. Otherwise, its quite classy, that colour really suits the render too. I guess they won’t go down the 7 seat route if the car is getting smaller…
