Would want to be a HUGE improvement over the traditional interior of French cars, which quality/design has been a shocker for years.

Looks ok!

Please bring back a new DS, another 10 year leap over the others, can history repeat?

Cheers

Looks mostly good, but I think the designers forgot to design the lower part of the centre consol. Instead, they used a generic geeky modern radio/CD unit. If Fiat could do it properly with it's new 500 then why can't Citroen?

This is funky, but hardly groundbreaking, and too fussy in the detailing to out-chic the car it's aimed at (Mini-Cooper). Anyone old enough to remember when the original DS hit the streets in 1955 would know what a truly futuristic design it was at the time - a Learjet in a flock of Tiger Moths. What a shame Citroen couldn't recreate history.

Alex, GS Cub had Hydropneumatic and made great little car, wonder if they would be game enough to go down that road again? It still doesn't look that old (basic shape wise) now.

Frontman, I don't think this particular model is about being faithful to the name. It looks like Citroen is turning DS into their Lexus, a higher class brand name. There are going to be bigger DS cars that hopefully will be more like the original. I must say though, I'd really like to have seen the hydro pneumatic suspension on a supermini. It would have given it an edge too, a nice comfy one.

I am really liking this car. I would never buy one to replace my Minis, or even one of them, but I would like to buy one to sit next to them. And that is a very nice interior.

Funnily enough the dash is (so far) the only part of this new vehicle that hat any semblance to it's namesake.... Maybe thay could put the button brake on the floor again :-)
