Porsche 911 Sally Carrera From ‘Cars’ Comes To Australia

Porsche Australia today announced the national tour of the animated cartoon Cars‘ star, Sally Carrera. The beautiful blue Porsche, who shot to stardom in the movie is visiting Australia for the ‘Pixar: 20 Years of Animation’ exhibition before embarking on a nationwide tour of Porsche centres.
These photos are not photoshoped! The one off specially-built Carrera is based on a 996 series Porsche 911.
Porsche says that Sally’s arrival into Australia this week was met with hysteria from other Porsches as she wheeled her way down the red carpet into Porsche Cars Australia headquarters.
“We are delighted to bring Sally Carrera to Australia. Sally is truly a one of a kind and we’re fortunate to have her here.” said Michael Winkler, managing director of Porsche Cars Australia.
If you can’t make it to the exhibition (June 28 – October 14 at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne) keep an eye out at your local Porsche dealer to get a glimpse of the movie star.
Sally Carrera has promised to pose happily for fans of all ages.
