How things have changed .

I mentioned yesterday that I would like Chasers to do a “PUT THE ADD TO THE TEST” on an Car . That stupid Territory add where it blows everything off the road would be a good one. Or any of those stupid Ute ones !Mind you these probably loads of others equally as stupid and self praising !!

Thats a good site, I know it too!…And the Escort ads, the first one on that site is an amazing ad for the 60s!!!

HA,HA! The XD Falcon ad! NOW THAT WAS FUNNY! It realy shows how having small cars is no advantage!

Yes, That XD ad was good. I don’t know why it’s not on here, that’s a classic! The slogan was, “DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS, FALCON IS THE ANSWER” and it went like this…

Visitor – (slide show) “Your family looks nice and cosy in that new 4 cylinder car Dave!”

Dave – “Yeah… Oh, here were are passing a truck! (Next sceen shot shows the truck again and again) Well it’s a pretty long truck! Here we are leaving the camp site,(Slide showing them jumping on boot) the tent will be coming back by rail.” (Visitor laughing)

Visitor – (Outside showing Dave the Falcon) “You know mate, you really didn’t have to squeeze your family into that little car. The Falcon Alloy Head 6, ton of room, beautiful performance, economy that makes some of your small cars. Well!”
