I strongly believe that Honda Accord Hybrid would have done very well herei n Australia. I personally think there is a strong market here. Look at all the Reviews that Civic Hybrid is getting. They say why buy a Civic Hybrid when you can get a cheaper Civic Petrol variant which is a better sporty and elegant car. But these comments or Reviews are done by those who don't spend more than 27K on a new car. And most are Second hand car owners. Those who purchase new cars are looking for Power, Luxury, and Brandname, and above all they end up paying upto $45,000 eventually to obtain these 3 things even after starting with a budget of $35000. Honda Accord Hybrid fits those 3 criterion well and will in that case may not stretch the pockets of its customers that far.

I personally own 2 Hybrids now....both Civics (2005 n 2007). And i absolutely love them. All the reviews and comments are rubbish. I so wish there was a bigger Hybrid than Civic...as simple as that!! Its time we got a bigger Hybrid. And Honda is what i want all the way.

Cheers,
RG.
