Audi / 2009 Audi RS5 spied with spoiler
The spectacular looking Audi RS5 prototype has been spied yet again at the Nürburgring, not too far away from the Full Throttle team.

It appears as though Audi’s engineers are experimenting with aerodynamics with the prototype sporting a small rear spoiler for its latest round of testing.
The dynamic rear spoiler lifts from the bootlid at high speeds, adding much needed stability at higher speeds.

Just how fast the RS5 can go remains to be seen, with current speculation torn between either a more potent version of the V8 engine from the S5 or the twin-turbo V10 found in the Audi RS6.

I don’t know why Audi is experimenting, considering the RS6 station wagon and sedan seem quite capable at high speeds.
