yes you are mistaken. chrysler australia is not bankrupt and has to honour its warranties.

No effect in Australian operations.
However, if your Chrysler you bought yesterday breaks down, Chrysler is not anymore liable to respect the warranty coz its broke. that’s called capitalism, anyway.

That’s one way to clear all your debt.

They only have themselves to blame for building such crap cars. I’m amazed the government is backing them so much. I guess they’re worried about the 30,000 workers more than anything else.

The sad thing is it seems all these large companies can pretty much get away with anything these days with so much government backing and free money being injected in to their core to keep them afloat.

Very sad indeed. I don’t feel for Chrysler at all and wouldn’t be sad if I see them gone. The only sad thing would be all the lost jobs.
