FT2: Novitec Rosso Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M
April 23, 2009 by George Skentzos
Novitec Rosso has earned its reputation as perhaps the most well recognised tuner of Ferrari vehicles, having just celebrated its 20th anniversary with its latest creation – the TuLesto.
As part of Full Throttle 2, CarAdvice has secured yet another Australian first drive of the Novitec Rosso Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M.
At its heart is a twin-supercharged version of the 430 Scuderia’s V8 engine that bumps power output from the standard 375kW to 527kW and increases the top speed from 320 to 348km/h.
This allows the tuned Scuderia to sprint from zero to 100km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reaches 200km/h after just 10.1 seconds.
The carbon-fibre shift paddles on the Novitec Rosso Scuderia are longer than their production counterparts and make manual gearshifts of the F1-SuperFast2 transmission even easier.
A less is more approach has been taken with the styling, adding trademark Novitec Rosso design elements such as discrete black tail lights, lateral turn signals and reflectors, ensuring that the classic Ferrari lines are not spoiled.

Obviously no news today. Could not all these prospective drives been put on one article.
Cupid, these manufacturers are going to extraordinary lengths to make these cars available for us, writing a dedicated article highlighting each car is the least we can do.
Also keep in mind these articles don’t just dissappear once they are off the front page, individual articles are far more convenient when searching from either within the site or from a search engine.
Point well made George – bigger picture stuff. Apologies.
Hope whoevers going enjoys the trip…and drive safe.
Seems like a lot of money and effort for about .3 quicker to 100…
Still, can’t really argue with more power. Torque would be a big benefit tho, the F430 never struggled with HP but a few more nm would have been divine. What figures does she have with this twin kompressor upgrade?
I guess they agree that shift paddles are better fixed on the column too…
are there any on the road?
What a beast…would still be happy as a pig in sheet with a stockstandard f430 if u ask me..
On this car, i love it, except the yellow on the lip of the wheels…looks crap..looks so fastnfurious style… not good..
I think those colour coded lips on the wheels are a novitec trademark/characteristic. If you ask me it works!! Its a giveaway that this is no ordinary fezza that looks like the ones every other (lucky :) ) owner has.
as always they’ve done a great job with the engine and the styling by novitech is very well thought out. Ferrari should get rid of pininfarina and bring the novitech team on board. a ferrari/novitech technical alliance would be the bomb. mad looking cars and quicker than what ferrari would normally produce too!!
