Yea I my self am building up a rotary diesel with aftermarket parts.
Should make a good boat motor.
Low fire hazards.

They are working on a hydrogen rotary. Not sure about a diesel one..

Mazda have built some great cars including the race winning Twin Turbo RX-7 and the iconic MX-5.

The RX-8 though, does not belong in this class. The reason – unimpressive performance, plain and simple. This should have been a 0-100km/h in six second device, no ifs or buts!
