Kia Cerato S Premium added to enhanced range
The Kia Cerato S Premium has joined the local line-up, bolstering the brand’s small-car range with a well-equipped second-tier variant.
The $24,590 Cerato S Premium automatic fills a hole between the entry-level $22,290 Cerato S auto and the previous mid-spec $28,490 Cerato Si auto.
At $2300 more than the Cerato S on which it is based, the Kia Cerato S Premium adds 16-inch alloy wheels, auto headlights and a 7.0-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, reverse-view camera and DVD player.
The Si and SLi variants also gain satellite navigation as part of the Cerato range update.
The S Premium features come on top of the Cerato’s already standard front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, and six-speaker audio system with Bluetooth phone connectivity with audio streaming.
As with the Cerato S, the S Premium is powered by a 110kW/178Nm 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which claims a 10.2-second 0-100km/h sprint time and combined cycle fuel consumption of 7.1 litres per 100km.
All variants in the updated Kia Cerato range are available in four-door sedan and five-door hatchback body styles.
