2009 Novitec TuLesto celebrates 20th Anniversary
April 19, 2009 by George Skentzos
To celebrate two decades of building some of the most exclusive and exotic supercars on the planet, Ferrari tuner Novitec has unveiled the TuLesto – a 572kW monster based on the F430.
The TuLesto represents Novitec’s first proprietary car and has been designed in cooperation with Italian design studio Luca Serafini Stile in Modena who have transformed the familiar silhouette of the F430 into a completely bespoke creation.
The mid-engined racer boasts a twin-supercharged 4.4-litre V8 powerplant which pumps out 212kW more than the standard F430 with peak torque rising to 727Nm, mated to a six-speed semi-automatic transmission.
The sprint from zero to 100km/h takes less than 3.4 seconds when using the adjustable traction control system with launch control and will break the 300km/h barrier after just 22.6 seconds on to its top speed of over 350km/h.
Its performance is largely thanks to its lightweight construction with most panels substituted for carbon fibre or aluminium, making the TuLesto extremely light while at the same time giving it extraordinary rigidity.
Its appearance is completely unique with only the head lights giving away its origins, comprising the spectacular curves of the fenders, the front apron, the shape of the rear and the smooth underbody with integrated venturi tunnel and diffuser which were calibrated in a wind tunnel to create an optimal aerodynamic balance.
The Novitec engineers have also employed GT-racing technologies in the suspension which features double-wishbone suspension front and rear, height-adjustable struts with various selectable damping rates, and adjustable sway bars.
To ensure the TuLesti does not suffer the nose-grinding fate of most supercars – especially with its virtually irreplaceable bodywork – it also features a nose-lift system which raises the front end by four centimetres.
The ultra-light light-alloy wheels were developed specially for the TuLesto and are fitted with semi slicks up to 355 millimetres wide on the rear axle, framing the carbon ceramic brake package with six-piston callipers front and back for ultimate stopping power.

The back looks a bit like a jaguar or aston. Love the whole package of the car.
i saw this before on seriouswheels.com and man it looks pretty good. and i read it had 2 superchargers, wow
Wow!
Honestly it’s a mess. I prefer the standard F430 which is stunning in design.
Is it just me me or is the fact that they only pulled 200 kw’s extra out of the engine a little dissapointing after twin super charging it? Seems a little crappy to me. Would prefer a standard F430 anyway.
YEH, i would 100% take a standard F430 over this, regardless of exlusivity and power…
Red or Black with tan leather, but if it were a spyder, i’d grab a white one! and on the topic of colours, that orange is ugly.
Not a huge fan of the colour either. But I think they’ve done lovely job making a Ferrari, not a Ferrari, without making an ugly car. The original is a beautiful looking car designed by the world’s best. To make changes this dramatic without producing a monstrosity is quite a feat.
200kW extra not enough?!
You must be joking.
Put me down for one in white. Ta.
This is an FUGLY piece of crap, they have BUTCHERED a beautiful F430 to creat this doggy doo….man o man, serafini should be ashamed of himself…And no i dont care how fast it is, you want something beautiful to look at when you buy a car. I mean look at the front, it looks as though it is smiling at us because it is one of bob the builders plastisene friends, come on….and the rear end….ewww…looks like a dam lotus…UGGGGLYY…the only singel thing that is nice about this car, and i mean ONLY…is the wheels….put them on stock F430 and that would be nice…..
as for this….no thanks…..
sorry i spelt single wrong…and pleistocene too…woops…sorry…
