Fiat 500 and Freemont Tricolore special edition models added to local line-up

Say "Ciao" to the new Fiat Freemont Tricolore and Fiat 500 Tricolore special edition models, which have arrived on sale in Australia.

The new Fiat Freemont and 500 limited edition Tricolore (tri-colour) models are said to bring "more than $1500 worth of extras" at no extra cost, as well as quite obviously honouring the red, white and green of the Italian flag.

The Fiat 500 version is based upon the Lounge specification, which is priced from $20,300 and comes powered by the brand's 0.9-litre two-cylinder turbo TwinAir engine and semi-automatic transmission.

The Freemont version is based upon the Urban designation, and is available as a 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol, six-speed automatic ($28,330) or 2.0-litre turbo diesel four-cylinder with six-speed manual gearbox ($32,600). It's available as a five- or seven-seater, with the latter attracting an extra $1500 charge but also adding three-zone air-conditioning.

The exterior differentiation of the newly added models includes the addition of red, white and green body stripe decals and chrome exterior mirror caps. Inside, there are red, white and green striped floor mats, and each comes with a model specific Italian-inspired key.

The Fiat 500 and Freemont Tricolore special edition models are on sale now.
