Lazybones… that link you gave with the concept suv, one, looks nothing like the W12. Two, is not even a German or European car. Three, the car looks just like a 5th Gen Golf but in supercar form. I just wanted to point out how egregiously wrong you were. I have owned a GTI and that offended me because that Nissan was a hideous piece of work!

Yeah, I love my hatchbacks 280. Screw the Evo, I would take one of these anyday. Just imagine dragging someone off at the lights when they mistaken it for an ordinary Golf. Would never happen though unless you take the body kit off and debadge it. Sweet as is all I can say.

Any shots of the engine bay? Does it suffer from holiday suitcase syndrome. IE you open the bonnet and can’t close it again!!!

I agree, Volkswagen and Audi are one of the few manufactures that take big risks like this and bring out super cars disguised as everyday cars.

I’ve commented in the past on how I love manufacturers that take a risk, all in the name of pushing the barrier.

VW is no exception.

Even if it’s just a concept. It proves it can be done. It instils the idea into other manufacturers heads and then the cars start appearing, creating yet another genre of vehicle.

I love it.
