Lexus LX570 Supercharger edition revealed
According to buyers in the United Arab Emirates, there's no such thing as excess - and that's where the new Lexus LX570 Supercharger edition comes in.
The Gulf-focused Lexus LX570 Supercharger edition, as you may have guessed from the name, adds some extra grunt to its 5.7-litre V8 engine courtesy of a supercharger. It increases the engine's power outputs from 286kW to 335kW, with the grunt sent to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox.
No performance figures have been released as yet, but it is believed the eight-seat performance model will sprint from 0-100km/h in less than 7.0 seconds - the standard model takes a more leisurely 7.8sec.
The LX570 Supercharger model adopts a range of other inclusions, such as a red leather interior, a Mark Levinson sound system, heated and cooled front seats, a power tailgate, front and rear parking sensors and xenon headlights with LED low-beam lights.
Intriguingly, the LX570 Supercharger model isn't a locally modified product, meaning it rolls off the production line in Japan as you see here.
However, Lexus Australia says the new model is not under consideration for Australia, indicating that the model is designed to cater to the demands of buyers in the United Arab Emirates.
