Ford Australia has expanded its capped-price servicing program by one year and 30,000km to now cover owners for seven years or 135,000km.

Available across the current Ford range and, as before, on all Ford vehicles built from 2007, the service has now also been extended to include brake pad replacements for most models – capped at $259.

Ford Australia says F-Series, FPV, ST, XR5 and Transit models are all excluded from the capped-price brake program.

First introduced in July 2011, the myFord capped-price servicing program is now accessible via a specific website where Ford owners can look up the maximum amount they will pay per logbook service over the seven years or 135,000km (whichever comes first).

Based on Ford’s 15,000km service intervals, the 30,000km program extension means the potential maximum number of services increases from the previous seven to nine.

As part of a partnership with State auto clubs – the RACV, RACT, RACQ, AANT, RAA, NRMA and RAC – Ford is also offering an Auto Club Program through participating dealers, which entitles new vehicle owners to receive 12 months’ free auto club membership including access to all member benefits. Again, FPV and Transit Custom buyers are excluded from the offer.
