2010 Range Rover Vogue revealed

Land Rover has unveiled its new generation off-road line-up today, culminating with its luxury flagship Range Rover Vogue model.

Powerful new engines, revolutionary interior technologies and enhanced driving dynamics reinforce the position of the 2010 Range Rover Vogue as Land Rover's most complete all-terrain luxury vehicle.

Under the bonnet, buyers will have the choice between a new 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine or a high performance supercharged version plus the acclaimed 3.6-litre TDV8 unit.

Both of the new direct injection petrol engines were designed from the outset to deliver class-leading fuel economy and improved low-end torque.

These fuel-saving measures have been achieved with the help of new e-Terrain Technologies which optimise efficiency whilst maintaining off-road drivability.

“The Range Rover Vogue remains the consummate luxury 4x4. Its combination of unrivalled all-terrain performance with the ultimate in comfort and refinement, remains a clear industry benchmark,” says Phil Popham, Land Rover managing director.

The new Range Rover Vogue is also the first to feature innovative 'dual view' infotainment touch screen technology which allows the driver and passenger to view different images simultaneously.

This allows the passenger to enjoy a movie on the 31-centimetre TFT screen while the driver receives navigation instructions or vehicle information.

“The new display technology used by the Range Rover Vogue 10MY is a major advance. It gives us tremendous flexibility in presenting information, so that the driver gets precisely the data they require, in all driving conditions. Meanwhile, the passenger can be relaxing with a movie!” explains Nick Rogers, Chief Engineer, New Vehicle Architecture.

Unlike the Range Rover Sport, the Vogue has naturally been engineered for comfort, incorporating Adaptive Dynamics technology to further improve the ride quality while seamlessly adapting to off-road situations at the touch of a button with Terrain Response and Stability Control systems.

To complete the package, the Range Rover Vogue 10MY benefits from a series of enhanced active safety aids including Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Brake Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, Automatic High Beam Assist (AHBA) and a surround camera system.

The 2010 Range Rover Vogue will go on sale in Australia by late 2009 with pricing, specifications and model line-up still to be confirmed.
