How not to: Install a satnav

Well, it's Friday, and the wierd ones are starting to come across our desks.

There's professional installations, and then there's this. One of our intrepid CarAdvice readers has sent us a pearler in this lesson on how not to install your suction-cap mounted satellite navigation system.

Okay so your suction cap doesn't work properly. Then why not buy a new one? Because you can get a piece of right-angle iron, stuff it in your dash, and you get the same result - that's why.

Worryingly, this is in a brand new FG Falcon. More worryingly, this is in a roadside assistance vehicle.

If this is the level of care that this company takes to get your vehicle back on the road, I'll get out and push, thanks.
