i’m a big fan of porsche cayenne and wouldn’t mind hybrid version with diesel for fuel to save on oil. but would performance still be the same, if it’s using diesel?

These hybrids will make it easier for people to afford transport if petrol prices go up. If petrol runs out then people can maybe switch to diesel and we’ll have diesel hybrids. If diesel runs out maybe we can use LPG and we’ll have LPG hybrids.

yes, albeit a VERY slight one

fuel will last longer than 10 years, the world wont suddenly dry up in oil. but when demand outdoes supply (known as PEAK oil) prices will skyrocket ($10+/liter). oil production follows a bell shape curve, and soon enough it will be on a downturn.

Fuel it tipped to last a lot longer than 10 years. Atleast Porsche are trying to make even a slight improvement of the environment.

if u wanted to save money on fuel why in gods name would u buy an urban cowboy wagon, sorry, 4×4. theyre now making a hybrid for excellant city driving? please

who cares about hybrid, the world will be out of fuel in about 10 years, were doomed any way you look at it.

4×4’s should be banned in city areas

The Hybrid portion is coming from Toyota

Toyota instructed Porker about lean manufacture and JITM, SIGMA 6 etc about 10 years ago.

Yeap, Germans learning from the Japanese!
