2010 Fiat Doblo spied

The light workhorse market has become greatly accepted in Europe with models such as the Volkswagen Caddy Life, Citroen Berlingo and Renault Kangoo leading this segment.

Fiat is preparing to replace its contender in this market with a new generation Doblo which has been spied yet again in Europe.

Due to make its debut sometime in 2010, the new Doblo will be engineered toward young families in the passenger-car variant with a conventional top-hinged rear door but will as well be available in a commercial version featuring a spilt tailgate.

While the general layout of the Doblo will remain unchanged, the styling is expected to be far more modern but no less quirky than its competitors.

From these images it would be safe to assume Fiat has opted to keep the current model’s most prominent features – the upright front grille and the sliding doors on either side of the car.
