I am pretty observant and instinctively (to my peril) slam on the brakes when I see the mobile cameras NSW police used a few years back. So if they took a picture of my rear plate I would have taken 40 kph off my speed. Any photo would have to show my speed at the time of the photo being taken (safe).

I got done by a speed camera in a school zone at 4 minutes to nine when the zone time ends. I quit my job as I can not afford to take the risk of having a job that involves driving as there is no leanancy even for government drivers. This is why all truck drivers are going north. My hat is of to Mr Marchesani. I only wish I could afford his courage. The sad little person that reported him must be a yellow fellow.

Motorcycles haven’t been required to have a front number plate for over 20 years…long before speed cameras were introduced so who’s bright idea was it to get speed cameras that are only capable of taking snaps from the front? Other States have cameras that take photos from the rear…
