It’s only understandable that Hyundai has to jump on the bandwagon.

IF it ever gets into production, like all concepts-to-production ideas, it will not look anywhere near the same. Time will tell I guess.

The Koreans are doing remarkable work. Sony can eat its heart out as compared to Samsung and now Toyota can probably do the same. Good work Hyundai. Not convinced I would buy a Korean H yet as I am still indoctrinated in the School of Subaru, but Hyundai are on the right path and getting better at it.

Wait if the engine cover is biodegradeable, thenwont it break down if it gets to humid or even after a few years. Although it’s a good idea it may not last. Style is ok, and so are the limited specs, but the biodegradeable stuff……. err i dunno.

Thanks Tim …………..nnnnnnnnnnn yeah I see the likeness around the lights and they both still have that hatch back hybrid thingy going but I still think this concept through the doors around the boot area and over the roof are different.

Here you go BM. Not a huge difference, but the production version lost some of the ‘aggresivness’ and funkiness found in the concept. Ofcourse, all concept > production cars are like that, but I was hoping Honda would leave it as is and not alter it too much. Oh well, Im happy driving my Subaru atm.

Nah dont agree BM. This is a copy of the Insight, no questions asked. All of these hybrid cars have something in common, but this is too much of a ’similarity’. The production version of the Insight looks like crap anyway, only the fancy concept had anything going for it.

Shockingly, I think the new Prius looks great – its quite stylish and different in its own way, but thats just me. This for me though, is the lowest point for Hyundai in a few years.

Tim if you pull back the outer edges of your eyes then maybe the Insight looks like this,other wise the Prius is a dead ringer for the Insight,perhaps Honda should sue Toyota if anyone !
