Australians will be among the first in the Southern Hemisphere to get the chance to see LaFerrari in the metal.
Ferrari Australiasia CEO Herbert Appleroth has confirmed the Prancing Horse’s most powerful production car yet will make its down-under debut at Ferrari Racing Days Sydney in April.
“LaFerrari is the pinnacle of engineering and technological prowess, being only one of 499 vehicles worldwide we are very proud to be able to showcase this phenomenal car at Ferrari Racing Days both for fans and owners to see.”
Unveiled at the 2013 Geneva motor show, LaFerrari is the fastest Ferrari production car to date, capable of accelerating from 0-300km/h in 15 seconds and reaching speeds in excess of 350km/h.
The 588kW/700Nm 6.3-litre V12 engine with a Formula One-derived hybrid system delivers a combined output of 708kW of power and more than 900Nm of torque.
Featuring the Ferrari 458 Asia Pacific Challenge series and F1 Ferrari show, the event is on at Sydney Motorsport Park from April 11-14.
