I agree, Ford seem to be really headed in the right direction and I am really enjoying the products that are coming out of this ‘Kinetic Design’ brief.

Ford are building some brilliant cars now – including our own Falcon, and this will continue with the fantastic new Focus. Ford have turned the corner and are on the rise.

Brochures are at the Dealerships now, not much change just Mondeo LX style centre dash and XR5 style HMI screen. Plastics are softer and nicer, quality is up but most won’t notice by looking.

Fiesta, if you are correct in saying that you ordered in January and the car will not be delivered to August I would be checking with the dealer again. I’ve heard there is a wait, but it’s about 2 months…

Great car, selling at a rapid rate around the world. Well done Ford for yet another terrific desirable vehicle.

LOL frontman. i was probably nit-picking before. Well two things can come out of that arrangement – the fit and finish of the fiesta will be right up there with the jazz and 2, (which would obviously be a good thing) or the 2 will be on par with the fiesta (which would be favoarable to the little ford). i don’t think thai manufacturing is that bad. A lot of hondas a made in thailand and the quality isn’t too bad. Its all down to quality control i say. and with fords smaller stake in mazda, i hope mazda has a bit more say over the quality control policies if both companies plan to use the same manufacturing line.

Congratuations Ford. Ford has every right to be proud of all its achievements and accolades thus far. I just had a look at the ford range today, including the Fiesta, and all i have to say is that im mighty impressed with the quality of the materials and the design of the vehicles. The fiesta looks damn nice in the sheet metal, and i would go so far as to say that it probably has the best interior materials in the class. However, i must admit that the fit and finish was still not as good as the Jazz or 2. And the switchgear still felt quite cheap. But apart from that small problem, it is a bloody nice car. It would defintely be in my top two if i had to get a small vehicle.

No RoFlmaTiC, I remember when Ford were selling Jag and Landrover and Aston Martin (back when people would buy them) plenty of people were saying Ford would be the first of the big three to fall. Goes to show that keyboard experts really don’t know everything, and are stupid to think they do. It is a cracking good car, I hope that its availability improves, although given sales in Europe are increasing still, not likely until more plants retool to build it.

Strange isn’t it? Unlike every other manufacturer at present, the poor little factory that builds these things in Germany is pumping them out as fast as they can yet the order bank keeps growing!!!
Funny, I thought the experts this time last year were all predicting the demise of Ford???

I can’t decide between the 3 or 5 door zetec?
I know the 5 door will be more practical but the 3 door looks so much better?
what should i do ?

The other annoying thing is the cool blue or red dash is only available on the most boring body colours?
