It will be available in two exclusive new colours – Kashmir Blue and Maroon Brown (pictured) – and features $5000 of additional value.

“Pricing for the Swift Limited Edition will start at $17,490 for the five-speed manual, representing only a $1000 premium on the entry level price,” Suzuki Australia General Manager Tony Devers said. “The new Swift LE represents extraordinary value, and captures the essence of the Suzuki philosophy of providing quality products with outstanding value for money.

“The Swift has been one of the great success stories in world motoring in recent years. Its mix of performance, handling, looks, quality and reliability has won car of the year awards around the world and it was the basis of Suzuki’s Junior World Rally Championship program that dominated the 2007 title. Swift has racked up sales records in every market it has been released and holds the record for Suzuki as the fastest to pass the one million mark after just four years.  In Suzuki’s 100th year of engineering excellence, the Swift 100th Anniversary Edition is sure to keep Australia’s best light car at the top of the sales charts.”

Maroon Brown! Finally my two least favourite colours combined into one very underwhelming poo flavoured colour!

    THERE IS A GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. The Salesman says:

Suzuki finally hit a formula and style that worked in a huge way. But is it not time to change or refresh the look of the car yet? Starting to get a bit stale isn’t it? The 100th anniversary would have been a good time to release a new look. Maybe Suzuki is too scared to change anything now. I guess that makes sense, if it isn’t broke, don’t fit it.

  7. Reckless1 says:

The Swift is a great little car, but this appears to be based on the entry level model, and does not have the curtain airbags that the S model has.

I’d rather have the S than this.

  8. Shak says:

good car with nice equipment but like reckless1 id rather have an s model or the Sport with the nice kits. But otherwise good effort from Suzuki. Good for them.

  9. Yanzo says:

look at the centre console, it’s not centre. i’d rather just buy a normal one. and man the anti-spam wors you have to type in make me laugh

  10. Ravith says:

Still no stability control (not even as option) and that puts me off. Particularly when no new car without ESP can be sold in Victoria from 2011. ESP is equally important for small cars.

This is a technology costing only a few hundred dollars – and i dunno why the manufacturers still try to fool the customers.

Not the one i will be looking at.

  11. g says:

The sport is by far the best swift model. not a fan of the other models.
