BikeAdvice launches in Australia

By Matt Brogan |

Following on from the highly acclaimed success of parent site CarAdvice, the team has today launched its subsidiary two-wheeled site BikeAdvice in Australia.

Set to the same winning formula that has earned CarAdvice the position of Australia’s number one editorial motoring website, BikeAdvice aims to stick closely to that recipe in providing readers with up-to-date news, the latest product reviews as well as road tests of all late-model sports bikes, nakeds, cruisers and even scooters.

So, if like us, you have a passion for anything with wheels and an engine, or perhaps you just want to save the hassle of finding a parking spot, then click across to BikeAdvice, bookmark the site, and have a read – who knows, we might see you on a crotch rocket yet!

Hey I thought this was already running Matt……….guess not.

      I’ll be doing both BM.

  • Jimbo

Better get on the moderation Matt, as I can not see any comments, for any articles.
And thankyou far starting a site of this kind for bikes, as a new rider I have looked and not many exist. None of similar quality to Car Advice. Good Work!

    • http://www.caradvice.com.au Matt

Haha, there’s one in there, thankfully moderation shouldn’t be as challenging – no Toyota bikes :)

I hope you enjoy the site Jimbo, and as a new rider if you have any questions, just sing out.

  • Jimbo

LOL, I will let my mates know and hopefully start to generate some conversation for you. After all you have to have some proof so the Advertisers will keep BikeAdvice going.

Haha, yes but is Honda the Toyota of the Bike world? That sounds really odd, but you know what I mean.

hahaha ,yes but we do have BMWs ;)

Ive started the promoting too………everyone has a mouth and 3 friends, well most of us !

  • Tim

Guys seriously – that site made me want a motorbike in like 10 minutes. I read the Honda CBR125R review and was thinking about getting that one, but after some research I think its a bit too small and would like a 250CC bike because it would still fit under the Learner law.

I’ll ask my questions on that site lol.

Awesome, about time! Toyota dont make bikes because there’s nowhere to store a zimmer frame and your bowling hat on a bike!

  • Cupid Stunt

  • john a

  • Fasthonda

@John A …Honda etc., make some of the best bikes in the WORLD deal with it!….I’ve got to deal with all that Harley Davidson piece of trash!

  • john a

fasthonda ohdear ohdear did i mention hondas?let me tell you i had hondas most likely before you were born(my assumption)in 1972 i rode a 500/4 right around the country in the days of mainly dirt roads also had several 750 4 got into harleys before they became a fashion statement, have had a few dukes nice but not for me.nicest bike i ever owned was a norton commando great handling quite fast.so fast honda please dont rubbish something you obviously dont understand.and yes i still own and love a harley even though they have become a fashion statement.and if you dont know what a norton is look it up on google, let me know what you think.

  • Jimbo

John A, I had to google the Norton Commando. A very cool bike! They too now have become a fashion item, but the good news is that they are making them again.
LOL I was born 10 years after you were riding that Honda, that would be at least 40 years/ish of riding experience you’re sporting. Take note Fasthonda, experience almost always gets the job over the flashy Resume!

    Hello Alborz Fallah,
This is a very good move to branch out and start Bike Advice. I would not have thought of it, but seems to be the next step in growing your blog, Car Advice. I’m a Blog Mastermind course member and have a feed to your site so that I can follow you closely. I’m trying to trace your footsteps and duplicate your process of how you started your blogs. You follow me on Twitter too. I thank you.
I wish you the best of luck. Take care.

    Yours sincerely,
    Rick Resch

  • Old CarAdvice Reader

I still remember on the 24th of October 2007 a user named “arsenalroc” first discovered the unfinished bikeadvice site (LOL) and Alborz responded to that by saying:

“Damn u guys and your nosing around.”
“Yes, we are launching bikeadvice soon.”

  • Kp

I was looking at the option to get a bike about 2 years ago, and was so excited to see bikeadvice coming. Sadly I ended up gave up on the idea, and left it.

2 years later, the opportunity came again, and this time I’m doing all the research properly, but find that lots of good sites back then, like BikeAdvice no longer exist… sadness…
