Agreed. I think my view at the time was that it was like someone saying your wife looked too much like Monica Bellucci. It was certainly one of the main reasons I bought the XF. The rear of the XF looks more like an Aston than the XK, though, coz it is more rounded (like Monica’s, grrrrrrrrr)

Is that a criticism that a jaguar can be confused with an Aston Martin? That is a compliment of the highest order IMO!
PS The XF has had the same criticism levelled at it as well when viewed from the rear 3/4. What the!

these things are beautiful inside and out, and I reckon they will be really special when the 5 litre comes in next year. They dont really look so much like an aston when they are next to each other. The only downside is the rear seat – about the size of the 911′s i.e. for very little people only, and even then not for long distances.

Good to see a manufacturer with a sensible approach to colour combinations. 3 exterior, 2 interior. Who needs the million combinations that seem to be offered by the likes of Maserati or Maybach.

Can’t quite understand why Folk are not buying these in greater numbers, they’re great IMO. That 22% increase in Jag sales I believe is down to sales of the XF and not the XK.
Also those new front lights from that angle of photo looks a bit like the Hyundai coupe thingy.

The only thing that gets me about this car is that when I see them on the road first thing I think it is, is a Aston Martin, and I have to have a look at the rear to see that it is in fact a Jaguar.
