Damm, why does everyone buy SUV’s. Its just silly. I’ve got a Skoda Superb wagon which is fantastic. Mates got an i30 des wag. and it drives pretty well – although he has had trouble getting anywhere near the expected fuel consumption figures.

I drive a VE Clubsport and my wife drives an I30 diesel, the I30 is a fabulous mid sized car, the interior is excellent and the seats are very comfortable and supportive. The diesel engine is outstanding, the torque is in just the right place and it makes it great for touring and around town. Considering the price and features, 10 out of 10!

Swampdawg: Back to the swamp with your silly comments. Find me a current shape wagon with D pillars that aren’t chunky? I think you will find similar styling in most wagons (and in the C pillars in the vast majority of sedans) built today. What a weird thing to say!

Still prepared and wait to see which diesel they put in the Tucson next year. If it’s 135 kw and 400 nm it could prove to be a very interesting alternative. Looking for more power in the I30cw for now.
