Video: Lamborghini LP 670-4 SV sideways

Lamborghini has shown off its new Murciélago LP 670-4 SV in a plume of tyre smoke with renowned drift and stunt driver, Sam Hubinette, behind the wheel.

Hubinette is the same driver Lamborghini used when it sent the Gallardo LP 560-4 sideways for its commercial in Los Angeles early last year.

    Some of those tyre marks resemble a couple of roads that I ocassionally go by near my house.
    What’s the power & torque output of the LP 670-4 SV ?
    I assume it’s a 6.7L V12?

    Fasthonda, this raging bull has a 6.5 V12 with 670 horse (493kW) and 660Nm (487 lb-ft) of torque.

    “With a 0 – 100km/h time of 3.2 seconds and a maximum velocity of 342km/h (212 mph) the Murciélago SV is the fastest Lamborghini ever produced.”

    Dang, thats fast.

    I’m trying to remain conscious and lucid,but with this viral flu,it’s not only attacking my physical body but also my mental faculties.
    Anyway it’s an awesome car.
    I have twice only spotted “just” a normal Murcielago on the Geelong to Melbourne Highway.
    Photos sometimes,just don’t do such supa-dupa cars justice.

    I love THIS BEAST….luv that ad, bloody awesome…
    And goose, the reason ford oz would not make and ad like this is cause the stupid civil libertarians would be in uproar at it promoting dangerous driving or some shit like that, look at the “mother” energy drink ad that they had to remake with stick figures because a couple of grandma’s complained it was to violent…ITS AN AD FOR GOD SAKE…. PC gone mad….

    Crap ad. Too much editing and cutting means you can’t even be sure it is the real thing or being driven for real. Love the piece of bitumen being chipped up and flying at the camera. What a way to score realism points.

    For a treat I know that some companies let you have a go in supercars on a track, I would love to do something like this.
