Lamborghini Murciélago LP 650-4 Roadster
March 14, 2009 by George Skentzos
Following the unveiling of the new Murciélago LP 670-4 at the Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini has also released the first official images and details of its new LP 650-4 Roadster counterpart.
The Murciélago LP 650-4 Roadster will arrive as a limited edition model with production capped at just 50 units worldwide.
As its designation suggests, the LP 650-4 Roadster boasts even more power from its 6.5-litre, V12 engine compared to the standard Murciélago Roadster, with peak power and torque of 478kw and 660Nm respectively, coupled with permanent all-wheel-drive.
The result is zero to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of around 330km/h.
It features a Grigio Telesto exterior that combines grey bodywork with a special bright orange Arancio LP 650-4 featured on the front spoiler and sills.
The orange theme continues though to the brake callipers while a transparent engine cover has been added to leave the monstrous V12 engine on display.
Similarly, the interior also echoes the orange-and-grey colour scheme, along with an asymmetric dash design with black Alcantara Nera on the driver’s side; including door panel and central tunnel, and black leather Nero Perseus on the passenger’s side.

Dream on folks!
Don’t actually like it myself!! Do they do it in diesel?
Not a fan of the orange, would just like it all in lime green….mmmmm!
Don’t like Lamborghini design nomore, Italians dont do this crap…
Lamborghini used to be sexy, not Vegas.
This is German ideas for sure.
Love the roadster. Here’s BTW a nice video of the new SV:

Erik F, already on the front page! ;)
oh it so calls for driving it, non-stop, once fast, once slow to show off, it might ruin the engine if it’s driven slow!
Unbelievable, just love that roadster. It’s definitely one of the hottest supercars around at the moment.
The paint job kinda reminds me of the old Adam West Batmobile.
Would prefer it in Piano Black and Red inserts, like a redback, deadly… lol
i am serious though…
I’d prefer it in matt black :)
What can one say its a Lambo, no one in their right mind would find fault with it wow 0-100 in 3,4 seconds that is fast, just a pity we don’t have the roads (in South Africa) to truly get to test the driving ability.
Well they have got the marketing right..slowly releasing pictures and videos.
