Lamborghini launches Google Maps virtual museum tour

Lamborghini has made touring its exclusive Sant'Agata museum an everyday possibility for fans of the brand around the world via a new expansion of Google Maps.

Derived from Google’s street view technology, the Lamborghini Museum virtual experience provides an indoor look at the two-storey facility in Bolognese, Italy, allowing users to gaze at the brand’s collection of exotic, classic and modern sports cars.

Comprising 1500 square meters, the museum’s collection includes production models such as the Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, Reventon, Estoque and Sesto Elemento as well as prototypes, limited editions, one-offs, racing cars and engines.

Available on various online platforms and devices through Google Maps, the virtual tour also features interior access to a select number of models.

If a trip to Italy is out of your price range, simply search Google Maps for "Museo Lamborghini" for your own private tour.

Should more high-end brands offer similar web-based tours of their facilities?
