I just saw the many brake (master cylinder) related problems connected with the 08 Corolla. Funny. I've had a weird noise from the very beginning and every time I took it to the Gosch Toyota dealer all they did was tell me there was nothing wrong. I'm not surprised at all the problems Toyota is having. I think this brake problem is just the tip of the iceberg. I am continuing to drive my Corolla with this odd noise and since I've been driving since 1953 I KNOW when something is NOT RIGHT. I don't need to be "lectured" that everything is all right. I've bought my last Corolla. My other Camry horror story relates to a new Camry (89) where the transmission failed at 60+ thousand miles. Three rebuilds were required and the SOB failed a 4th time before I junked it as unsafe to drive. Nobody, not even AAMCO had a clue as to how to fix it. Then I bought a 96 Toyota Tercel where a mechanic put in the wrong spark plugs. Engine blew up., insurance paid $5000. to repair it. (refused to total it). Burned oil at rate of a quart every 500 miles and Toyota tells me "that is acceptable to Toyota". What a croc. As far as I'm concerned., Toyota has sold me pieces of crap and I don't trust them any more. I would never trust them.

Hi,
I have a jimny suzuki 2009 model still under warranty. I noticed the button to lock/unlock my car wasnt working, yet i could manually insert the key to do this still and use the ignition no problems. I took the car into suzuki and they said it was the transmitter which is covered under warranty and that they had already ordered the part, yet would take 3 weeks. Fast forward 3 weeks. I took the car in and waited for the part to be fixed. I was then told by a different customer service man it would be $178! I wasn't allowed to get my car unless i paid this, yet he said he would look into it (bet he doesn't get back to me)
Now if the customer service guy said in the first place it wasn't covered under warranty, i would not have bothered getting it done as i could use my keys. Is there anything i can do?

We have a Holden Omega VE Dec 2006 series. Had battery problems with it about 6mths after buying it. Struggled with dealer to get it fix, finally did. Since then we have had small problems with the car. Last July the battery was completely dead, had to get a new one put in (can't just do it yourself anymore!) Had the car serviced yesterday and was told that the battery was low even though it is only 7mths old. The car gets used everyday, we have been told that if you don't lock the car the battery will drain. We don't lock the car as it is in the garage, but is the fact that we don't lock it draining the battery?

HI 3 days ago I purchased a used car from a dealer and today I went to drive it and it wouldn't start.
I called the RAC and they said I need a brand new battery. Should the dealer have to replace this?

Today Tonight just ran a story about a Jeep Wrangler problem. I have also had a serious issue with the clutch in a 2009 wrangler and NO WARRANTY given by Chrysler. Any one else out there have aclutch problem with the Patriot, Jeep range. Like to hear.
