Ferrari 430 Scuderia prepped for FIA GT3

As the hardcore version of the standard F430, the Scuderia is already as close as you can get to a Ferrari race car for the road - beating even the mighty Enzo around the Fiorano test track.

As a race car for the track then, the new 430 Scuderia GT3 is as fast as Ferrari can go this side of Formula 1, poised to compete in this year's FIA GT3 European Championship.

Prepared by Kessel racing as a successor to the F430 GT3, winner of the 2007 FIA GT3 European Championship, three teams have already expressed interest to run the new model for this season.

In compliance with GT3 class regulations, despite its extreme appearance the Scuderia GT3 surprisingly quite similar to its road-going sibling.

This is in an effort to not only showcase the manufacturer's product in its purest form in motorsport, but also to deliver a package which is more manageable for the 'gentleman drivers', or racing drivers who are non-professionals who compete in the series.

Subject to FIA approval, the Scuderia GT3 will receive a new homologation form where it will then compete among brands including Ascari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche and Jaguar.
