Funny you should say that Frontman………..my brother had a bit of a dingle in his VE SSV Ute and guess what ? Hadnt noticed the difference in colour before hand but did after it had been repaired,its Atomic………Silver is a BAD colour to match up most times on any car .

Mistertwo, it is an unfortuante thing that every car with plastic bumpers will have mismatched bumpers from that angle :-( Apparently it is to do with the polymers thay have to add to the paint to allow flexibilty… and yes it is worse in the champaign and light silver colours.

Customised to suit Chinese consumer tastes and requirements? I don’t quite understand? Sure, the Chinese market could possibly do without the hot hatch variant of the Fiesta ..but do these come with spring roll scented air freshners? Oriental patterned seat fabric?

I’d say the new fiesta will be on ebig success for Ford globally.
Word is it’s out stripping intial supply here also, good news for Ford Oz.
I have to say that seeing the new fiesta in the flesh has convinced me Ford is now an equal to ANY Japenese maker.
Time for perceptions to match reality…

Great car, and the one car for one job is going to be a winner for Ford, unlike GM’s 50 cars for one job approach!

Can I see parking sensors on this car? Its the size of a canoe! And why bother with a sedan version of such a small car. The boot capacity would be just about big enough for a sack of potatoes :)
