Well ahead of its expected debut which is still more than three years away, our spy photographers have captured a glimpse of a Mercedes-Benz SLK mule in frozen northern Scandinavia.

This third generation SLK prototype – while heavily camouflaged – is expected to be sharper and more upright than the current model which it is set to replace.

As a result, it is likely to lose its Formula 1 inspired front end in favour of a radically new design, emulating the subtle design trends emerging throughout the Mercedes range.

New to the range will be LED daytime running lights, with a metal folding roof to remain as standard.

    I reckon its gonna be a gun car, really awesome, but it just looks, idk, abit old n maybe abit tacky. I hope they prove me wrong, but im just not likin the look of it. What type of rngine does it have? Theyve always mad earth crushing engines
