2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage video review
March 2, 2009 by Karl Peskett
Our journey to the Snowy Mountains was certainly a spectacular one, and with two of the world’s finest looking cars, it was a few days that we’ll fondly remember. Fortunately, we captured the whole thing on video for your enjoyment.

Love the sound of them starting up up at 3:15-3:35
you cheeky buggers,
how does this constitute a day’s work? too lucky!
OH MY GOD!
That sound is truly amazing. Pitty about the foul blue interior on the coupe though.
Wonderful review! Enjoyed ever moment of it.
Great video,I really enjoyed it!
With the current proliferation of turbos which to a certain extent, can muffle the true sound of an engine,it’s a joy to hear a top notch NA engine in full song.
By the way,Anthony must have some Italian in him.His hand and arm gesturing becomes quite animated in the video :)
Looks like you had great fun. Well produced, entertaining even the Buck Rodgers sounds track!! Alborz – tie Antony’s hand behind him. Tee Hee.
You sure sit low down in those. Antony could you see over the steering wheel.
Love the Matrix soundtrack to go with the fast driving! And I agree with the others, those engines sound glorious :)
Was that a private road, or highway? Looks like a nice road to go for a drive on!
I love this car. IMO the 2nd best looking car in the entire world (the best looking being the Alfa 8C). Too go with the great looks is possibly one of the best engine sounds you would ever hear. Now Aston is bringing out the Vantage V12, which then adds supercar levels of performance to what is a perfect package already with the 4.7L V8!
Wow. Just wow. I really should be getting into motoring journalism.
Brilliant car, I’ve only ever read and heard good things about it, especially the handling. My only slight complaint is the front end styling. Don’t get me wrong, the car looks utterly brilliant, it’s just the headlights and front grille that I’m not completely sold on. Everything bar that though is about as near to perfection as you’ll get.
And you’re right about the comparison to the Lambo. Astons just seem to pull off the ridiculously good looks without coming off as wanky.
Fantastic video Al, wish I was there!
Loved the launch scene where DSC was turned off.
Keep up the good work, ohh and it ‘certainly looks like you had some fun with it’ ;)
Well Done guys, one of the best videos ive seen for a while.
Did you hear the glorious sound people? Well you better savour it because once the greenies and the environMENTAL people keep pushing thier lies you will never hear sounds like that again, i give it 10years max before you truly truly see the Death of beautiful sounding cars….
I love this car BUT i still would take a Black Maserati Granturismo S model over this…but if i could afford both, sheet yeah i would…
Please can I just be Mr Bond just for one day. Those car are just stunning.
Long been a fan of the mighty Aston, and this vid just confirms it ever more.
Fine, very fine!
Excellent video work too CA.
this video is too good not to put in our Top gear Video competition.

Just watchdd this for the first time [won.t be the last either!]impressed[very]
Done a great job guys, showing a bit more of the car would have been nice though!
