I think you’ll probably get a few more replies if you post that with full stops and on an article relevant to Great Wall. That sounds like a pretty shoddy quality, no wonder they won’t supply a test car to anyone. It’s a bit late now but you probably would have been better off buying a near new Tuscon or Captiva.

Just purchased the great wall x240about 4 weeks ago..i have found it an overall nice car to drive and very happy with the fuel economy as it is way over what they advise apart from the lack of power,does not like to idle in 2nd gear at a low speed and flat out if you want to take it any where over 120kph.(which will prevent a lot of speeding fines for the future purchasers i suspect) little things like the roof lining not fitted properly on some edges, chrome strips on the outside being a little loose some rattles appearing in the gear lever boot cover, glove box will randomly open when driving, faulty catch im guessing, the climate control front panel has already been replaced as the mode button went in and would not come back out so the air con would randomly come on and off, brake dust is a constant problem as the front wheels are always covered in a film as soon as you wash the car and it spreads up the side of the car,,wondering if this will in time effect the duco ( has anyone else had a problem with this) i did not get a spare key with the car and am still waiting on one but suspect this was a problem with someone from Holden losing it. Also i have to slam the doors as they do not close properly and my driver window shattered this morning on just closing the door… has any one had a problem with glass in these vehicles.. would be very interested to hear from other owners… deb
