Last chance to meet us for lunch and help the bushfire appeal

March 1, 2009 by Paul Maric

It’s your last chance to place a bid on the two auctions we are currently running to raise money for the 2009 Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

The winner of each auction will have the chance to be collected by the CarAdvice team if they’re located in Victoria and taken out to lunch.

Our HSV auction consists of a HRT jacket signed by Garth Tander and Will Davison. On top of the stellar signed jacket, the winner will be collected in a HSV vehicle from their home and will be taken out to lunch with the winners of the other two auctions, along with the Melbourne CarAdvice team.

The FPV auction includes a signed FPV jacket. Along with the jacket, the winner will be collected from home in an FPV vehicle and also taken out to lunch with the winners of the other two auctions and the Melbourne CarAdvice team. Click here to view the FPV auction.

These two auctions end TODAY. This will be your last chance to place a bid and help out those in need.  The auctions both finish soon after 8PM, 1st March, 2009. As it stands, the FPV fans are dishing out a flogging to the HSV fans in terms of the bids. So let’s see some CarAdvice loyals get in on the bidding to move the HSV auction along. Remember, there is also a third auction currently running which includes an absolute bucketload of merhcandise from a raft of manfucturers. We have gear from Volkswagen, Skoda, Land Rover, Lexus, Perth Graphics Centre, along with a one-off signed Ari Vatanen book. There is in excess of $500 worth of merchandise and the auction is only at $300 at the moment, so get in there and begin bidding.

As with the other two auctions, the winner of our third auction will be collected by the CarAdvice team from home in a BMW vehicle and taken out to lunch with the winner of the other two auctions and the Melbourne CarAdvice team. Click here to view the miscellaneous merchandise auction.

With your help, we can dig deep and support the families who have lost everything. So we urge you to bid. Thanks again for your support guys, this is what being Australian is all about!

How about some tickets for the motorshow from you guys to top up the prizes

Hey Caradvice/managers here’s a suggestion, how about u guys organise a Cruise/Fundraiser, sort of like STREET COMMODOREs Cruise For Charity, just that this cruise can sort of be like Cruise for the Bushfire Appeal.

I mean if the 2008 Cruise for charity raised over $150,000 nation wide, & only had commodore drivers involved.

If u guys at Caradvice did a similar event, even raising a few grand would be good enough.
