Bugatti Veyron vs Ferrari F40
April 26, 2007 by Alborz Fallah
A special treat for our viewers today, did you ever wonder what it would be like to test the ultimate supercar of today vs its equivalent in the past?
Of course there is no comparison for the Bugatti Veyron, with its W16 engine and four turbo chargers, the Veyron puts out a ridiculous 1001 horsepower.
Meanwhile the Ferrari F40 is powered by a twin-turbo 3-liter V8. Its just to hard to pick one over the other.

The bugatti has near twice the BHP, and the F40 is a very old model.
Be that as it may, the F40 is still quicker around many race tracks.
Ever wonder why TopGear where NOT allowed to let TheStig track test and time the bugatti, simple its a HWY car and *slow* on a race track…..
O/A
i think that the bugatti veyon is way way faster than the f40
i think the ferrari is slow like hell.

obviously the veyron is going to be way faster than the f-40, theres no doubt it will destroy the f-40 in a quarter mile. the real challange between them is on a track, i feel that it would be a close one between the 2 but the f-40 would come out on top due to its traction compaired to the veyrons.
The bugatti boasts 16 years of technology over the f40. It is a vastlt superior car in every way, track, drag etcetc.. The bugatti bested the Mclaren F1 in every category and the F1 would eat the F40’s lunch. Let it go, the Veyron will beat up the F40 (or the Enzo for that matter) and take it’s lunch money.
