Innotech Aspiron to be revealed at Goodwood Festival of Speed

It's safe to assume there will be a lot of fast cars at next week's Goodwood Festival of Speed, but few will be madder than this, the Innotech Aspiron.

The Aspiron shares its underpinnings with the previous-generation Chevrolet Corvette, rewrapped in a race-car-inspired body not unlike the Caparo T1.

Innotech, based in the Czech Republic, gives owners a choice of GM-sourced engines, including the LS2 6.0L, LS3 6.2L (as used by HSV’s former E Series models), and LS7 7.0L V8s. Further choices include whether the engines are naturally aspirated or force-inducted, resulting in a power range of between 298kW and 745kW.

All this in a car weighing just 750-800kg, “depending on the driver”.

Each engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission from Porsche’s 997-Series 911 GT2. Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential.

Innotech describes the Aspiron as an “adrenaline booster for hardcore drivers”, and with specs like these you’d be hard pressed not to agree.

Prices in the UK reportedly start at £114,000 ($190,300), however for the truly dedicated there is always the option of reaching into “price available upon request” territory.
