Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG Edition 1: performance pack not for Oz

Available for the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG across Europe, the Edition 1 pack distinguishes itself from the standard car with a gloss black rear spoiler, graphite grey side stripes and matte black 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, Artico/Dinamica sport seats with red highlights join a leather/Dinamica-wrapped steering wheel with red stitching and an Artico-wrapped console. Unique badging and AMG floor mats complete the interior finish.

The 265kW/450Nm turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine remains untouched from the standard CLA45 AMG,  with the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and all-wheel-drive system also remaining identical.

While the Edition 1 model is priced in Europe from 56,977 euro ($81,000), Mercedes-Benz Australia says the CLA45 AMG is expected to come at a premium over the $74,900 A45 AMG hatchback when the sedan arrives on our shores in late September/early October.
