The new Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic features a wet sump 4.7-litre V8 engine which develops 323kW at 7000rpm and 490Nm of torque at 4750rpm will for the first time be mated to an automatic transmission (previously featuring an electro-actuated gearbox).

A smooth Sachs ZF six-speed transmission takes care of the cog swapping for the GranTurismo S while underneath the Skyhook suspension system featuring continuously adjustable dampers provides improved driving comfort.

Passive safety is further enhanced thanks to the introduction of a new generation passenger air-bag with Low Risk Deployment functionality.

The Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic also features some marked stylistic differences to make it immediately recognisable. These include new under-door skirts and all-new 20-inch alloy wheels with “Trident” design, which recall the strength and elegance of the car.
