SRT Viper GTS: Chrysler CEO donates Italian snake to charity

The one-off SRT Viper GTS was unveiled at a Sons of Italy Foundation event this week, sporting Avorio Perla white paint, black vapour chrome wheels, tricolour badges and seat stripes, and other subtle interior tweaks.

Marchionne donated the 477kW/814Nm 8.4-litre V10-powered American supercar to the foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of the Order Sons of Italy in America, the oldest and largest organisation supporting men and women of Italian heritage in the US.

The US$120,395 ($124,900) SRT Viper GTS is the flagship model in the fifth-generation snake family, offering a long list of exclusive features including an adjustable suspension with Bilstein shocks, Brembo brake discs with red calipers, four-mode electronic stability control with Sport and Track settings, and a 12-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system with two subwoofers and surround sound.
