Vehicle stability control is very important. Icertainly wont be buying a car that doesn’t have it. Not everyone is of the same opinion though. Prople who dont know cars and are just looking for a run about probably dont even know what it is and even then if it is explained to them they may think ‘well i dont really need that’. I know a girl who went to look at a new Jazz and I told her about it not having VCS. When she asked the dealer would you believe he told here that “it’s an option that we dont offer becasue it is not needed.”

I’d rather have the I30 over Ford Fiesta or Jazz…Jazz does not provide ESP even as an option… You can buy I30 19900 drive away wit ESP…Jazz ?? 1.5 21000 drive away with NO ESP…What a crap…Even 46000$ Odyssey has no ESP even as an option…Wake up Honda..!!

No way would it sell at the same price as the current Getz runouts. Hyundai wants to bump up their image in Australia, hence importing these new ‘European’ models. My guess is the i20 will start at $13 990 – $14 550.

They are selling the Getz for $12490 D/A at the moment here in Cairns. If the new i20 offers the same price point, it will be at least 5k cheaper than a Jazz of a Fiesta. Percentage wise, that is a big difference in price. I wonder what the real price of the i20 will be. If it is within 2k of the Jazz/fiesta it will have a hard time selling but if it mirrors the current Getz pricing then it will sell like hot cakes I would think.

I really like the new i20 – the looks of it anyway. It looks brilliant, and isn’t ‘in your face’ as a Fiesta. Looking at Hyundai’s latest vehicles, this one will be a very good car for the class…although it will probably not reach the class leaders (Fiesta, Jazz).

Looks great but I wonder if this will eventually replace the current Getz model ? Still, its good to see a manufacturer build cars which are fuel efficient & eco-friendly & I cant wait to see one when it finally arrives in Australia.

Looks good but everybody knows that the current class leaders are the Fiesta and Jazz so I’d rather one of those. Probably the Fiesta.
