Images of Hyundai’s all-new HED-6 concept have found their way to the CarAdvice office this morning with the impressive Tucson replacement, expected to be called the iX35, showing an entirely new look for the brand.

With design features including a hexagonal grille, more angular body lines, a big move away from the rounded Tucson we’ve come to know, and back-swept headlamps, the concept model rides on 21-inch alloy wheels.

The Ice Blue coloured HED-6 concept also features a rear window that will be made using Lexan plastic rather than glass to further save weight.

Powered by a 130kW, 1.6-litre, turbo-diesel engine the HED-6 Concept will be featured at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.

Are we sure Hyundai arent buying them out the back of the Ford Kugas factory ? Headlights and tails light have that Asian look though.Still, a good looking car.

If a watered-down version of this ends up as the next Tuscon/Sportage, complete with the recently-announced new diesel engine, then everyone else in this segment needs to don the flak jackets. These guys mean business.

BM, you dont need to repeat something which has already been said 2 posts above yours.

On topic: Looks nice some styling hints for the next Santa Fe. Rear lights remind me a bit of the Audi Q5.
