CM – you have an interesting opinion of Huyandia/Kias Diesel capabilities, given the recent actual impressive work of the leading diesel manufacturers, but even those like peugeot (and other euros) who have diesel hybrids know its an interim technology.

But then I spose Bently have been eyeing off the small car segement for a while now, i give them 3 years also before the dominate that part of the market….

‘Blue’ is not exactly ‘new’, as we all know about Volkswagen’s ‘BlueMotion’ technology, but anyone in the know, or with experience of Hyundai/Kia’s diesel technology will be very aware that within 3 years these guys will be the world leaders in diesel engines.
BUT. If diesel goes off the boil due to emissions issues (as it already has in the USA), the Koreans will have a problem.

Speaking of efficient, checkout apteraDOTcom.
This car gets ovr 40KM a L but the US won’t offer it any financial assistance or subsidies because it doesn’t have 4 wheels.
