2009 Mercedes-Benz GL facelift spied
February 15, 2009 by George Skentzos
The mid-life facelift for the Mercedes-Benz GLK SUV has been spied almost completely undisguised in northern Scandinavia.
The prototype pictured reveals only a mild redesign over the current model, with a slightly tweaked front bumper with new fog lamps and air intakes seemingly the only changes.
Similarly, black clad camouflage hides much of the rear bumper, with obvious design changes having been made to the rear skirt and tail lights.
The engine line-up is expected to remain identical to the current range, with a few interior and equipment modifications comprising the majority of the new model.

HAHA,
Ehhh what exactly is the difference??
GTR – read the article, it’s given away in there.
How many of these have Merc sold – about 2 is my guess. Buy the ML instead…far nicer IMO
lol Cupid, didn’t you just say something similar on the X5 M page? I concur tho, ML320 CDI with off-road pack all the way!
PS, is it just me, or does the back of this car remind you of a hearse?
I would rather this than an ML. The ML looks awkward at the back. I’m not saying that this is some beauty but I like the chunky squared off Range Rover-ness. Saying that, I love my Range Rover so that explains that. I’d rather a Discovery though.
Cupid, I think they have sold a lot of these actually. After all, it isn’t a bad drive and it can take seven in comfort. I know a Volvo XC90 can as well but it doesn’t drive as well and doesn’t have the badge.
No difference. I wish they’d make real back seats in them instead of those American car, low-rising back seats.
