Nissan Navara ST-X Blackline Edition headlines local specials line-up

The Nissan Navara ST-X Blackline Edition has been launched at $54,888 driveaway, headlining four new special editions from the Japanese manufacturer.


Based on the $56,990 Nissan Navara 4x4 ST-X Dual Cab model with its 170kW/550Nm 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel, seven-speed automatic transmission and 3000kg towing capacity, the Navara ST-X Blackline Edition receives driving lights, a tow bar with wiring kit, reversing camera, satellite navigation with over 60,000km of HEMA 4WD tracks, a black nudge bar, black sports bar with high-mounted stop light, black soft tonneau cover and tub liner, a Nissan Navara branded cool box, floor mats and a unique ‘Blackline Edition’ badge.

Metallic paintis also included at no additional cost in a package that Nissan says totals over $7000 of extra equipment.

Along with the Navara ST-X Blackline Edition, Nissan has also announced three other special edition models.

The Nissan Micra Plus, for $17,990 driveaway, is based on the $16,990 75kW/136Nm 1.5-litre four-cylinder four-speed automatic Micra ST-L, but gains metallic paint, rear park assist, an Apple iPad Mini with branded case and Auxillary cable, and ‘Plus’ badging.

At $42,990 driveaway is the new Nissan X-Trail Adventure. Based on the $44,990 X-Trail Ti AWD, with its 125kW/226Nm 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and CVT (constantly variable transmission) with six-speed manual mode, the special edition Adventure model adds roof bars, two bike carriers, and an ‘Adventure’ badge. A choice of one of four Avanti bicycle packs – a Road pack valued at $1,999.95 comprising an Avanti Quantum Tour De France or Avanti Questa Tour De France Edition, a Mountain pack valued at $1,995.95 with an Avanti Vapour 26.1, a Family pack valued at $1,859.80 with two Avanti Discovery 2.0 and two Avanti Black Thunder 24-i bikes and a Couples pack valued at $2,399.90 with an Avanti Blade 3.0 and Avanti Aria 3.0 – is also included for a total of over $3200 in extra value.

Based on the Pathfinder ST-L ($56,490 manual, $59,490 auto), the Nissan Pathfinder Adventure special edition is offered with both six-speed manual and five-speed automatic transmissions and receives satellite navigation with HEMA 4WD tracks, front DVD player, alloy nudge bar, tow bar, tinted bonnet protector, roof bars, a 41-litre branded cool box and an ‘Adventure’ badge.

With pricing starting at $56,990 driveaway for the manual model, Nissan says the Adventure package equates to over $5500 of added value.

All four special editions are on sale now, and must be ordered by April 30 and delivered by June 30.

So far this year, the Nissan Navara is Australia's second best selling ute with 7618 units shifted, trailing only the long-time segment king, the Toyota HiLux, by 1575 vehicles.
