Land Rover sale grew by over 16% in Australia last year, one of very few manufacturers that can report that. Clearly you make you purchasing decisions without research but it is unfair to assume that the general public are that stupid. The Land Rover product has drastically improved and sales reflect this. Landrover are nothing special, just an over priced tank that people buy only because they believe it gives them some sort of higher status. I was stupid enough to invest into a TD4 Freelander. It spent more time in the work shop than on the road. Selling it was like trying to give away leprosy. In the end a bloke bought it off e bay before he moved to Australia from Dubai.
